Eligibility for TAFA Registration

Resident of Telangana

Only individuals residing in Telangana are eligible to participate.

Minimum 3 Years of Playing Experience

Players must have at least 3 years of experience in American Football (school, club, or league level).

Government-Issued ID Proof

Aadhar Card, Passport, or any recognized photo ID must be uploaded.

Minimum Age: 14 Years

Participants must be 14 years or older on the date of registration.

Physically Fit for High-Impact Sport

A valid medical fitness certificate is mandatory at the time of registration.

Parental Consent (If Under 18)

Players under 18 must submit a signed parental/guardian consent form.

Who can register for the TAFA State Championship?

Players who are residents of Telangana, aged 14 and above, with at least 3 years of American Football experience can register individually.

What documents are required during registration?

You’ll need a government-issued photo ID (like Aadhar), a medical fitness certificate, and a consent form if you’re under 18.

What happens after I register?

You will receive a confirmation email with further instructions. Teams and fixtures will be announced ahead of the championship dates.

Do I need to be part of a team to register?

No, individual players can register. TAFA will group individual players into teams or connect them with existing ones if needed.

Is there a registration fee?

Yes, a nominal registration fee will be collected. Exact details will be shown on the registration form.

Will players receive participation certificates?

Yes. All registered players will receive official TAFA participation certificates. Winners and standout players will also receive medals and trophies.
